Tried and Tested Travel Gear
Petzl E02 P e+LITE Emergency Headlamp - This versatile 3-LED headlamp is perfect for traveling. I use mine on trains, planes, camping, and for wandering around the hostel at night without waking my roommates (key to making friends!). White, red, and flashing options and pivoting head. Caveat: I’d recommend something stronger if in need of a lot of light.
Gregory Baltoro 70 Backpacking Pack - I love this pack. It’s tough yet comfortable. I take it everywhere. You may want the 55L to keep from packing too much stuff like me. Tip: Use plastic bags to stay organized in the cavernous inside.
Money Belt - This is a must have for all of you travelers. Put your money and passport under your clothes. It’s not always essential, but when I use mine it’s cheap insurance and peace of mind.
Gorillapod - Ingenious and useful for taking photos of yourself and others. Portable and flexible tripod can grab on tree branches or sit in the sand.

MOZY Backup

I’ve used MOZY Backup for over a year. It’s the perfect way to back up your computer from home or around the world. Get 2GB for FREE forever if you just want to back up the most important stuff.
1&1 Internet Services

1&1 Web Hosting and Domains - I’ve used 1&1 for over 2 years. On many occasions I’ve called in for help and I’m always greeted by a friendly voice and speedy service. For as little as $5 you can begin hosting your own website. I’m also proud to announce that 1&1 recently stepped up greening efforts by buying carbon offsets for 100% of their energy at the Lenexa, Kansas data center. I genuinely recommend 1&1.
